Bridging the Religious-Secular Divide
To understand the divide between faith-based and secular nonprofits, we contacted and interviewed organizations that have successfully bridged that divide. These nonprofits were split into four groups, based on if they were faith-based or secular or if they were a foundation or a grantee. In the end, we had interviews with leaders from over two dozen nonprofits throughout the country with diverse histories, perspectives, and concentrations.
